Cerebral infarction in a 6-year-old girl - a case report

Cerebral ischemic injury is uncommon in children. The authors describe a case of brain infarction in a 6-year-old girl. The child presented an acute onset of hemiplegia in the left arm and leg, central facial palsy. The diagnosis of ischemic stroke was confirmed by computed tomography [CT] and magnetic resonance imaging [MRI]. There has not been found vascular abnormalities in magnetic resonance angiography.
