Serum apolipoprotein A concentration was determined in 21 patients with psoriasis. The group included 15 patients with generalized psoriasis (GP) and 6 patients with limited psoriasis (LP) involving less than 10% of the skin area. A slight, statistically insignificant decrease in serum apolipoprotein A concentration was found in the LP group as compared with controls (CG) (p < 0.60) and an increase in the GP group (p < 0.02). Additionally, significant statistical differences were noted between the GP and LP groups (p < 0.05).
