A case of a 36 year old pregnant woman is described in whom Caesarean section revealed subclinical uterine rupture and an ingrown fragment of the small intestine in the scar after Strassman's operation. Special attention is paid to this extremely rare complication of metroplasty and the author's original management of the patient is evaluated. Delivery by Caesarean section is recommended as a method of choice in every patient after plastic surgery on the uterus.
