Figure 2 Comparison of 3-year overall survival between the 2 groups. There were 25 deaths reported (17 from the control group and 8 from the SD group) within the first 3 postoperative years. The SD group had a significantly better 3-year overall survival than the control group (P=0.0455; HR for death, 0.4369; 95% CI, 0.1994 to 0.9575). MedCalc software (version 15.2.2, MedCalc Software, Ltd.) was used to create the figure.
