Figure 2 Chrysophanol improved the myocardial damage in AHF rats. After various treatments, rats were sacrificed and myocardial tissues were obtained. (A) Hematoxylin and eosin staining was performed to evaluate the pathological damage and cross-sectional areas of cardiomyocyte were calculated. Scale bar: 100 μm. (B) Creatine kinase-myoglobin (CK-MB) activity and (C) lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) activity analysis in myocardial tissues was assessed using commercially available kits.
