Medical Science Monitor is developing! Constantly increasing number of submissions of both, basic and clinical research papers triggered the Editors decision to create Medical Science Monitor Basic Research in order to better serve the authors and readers of Medical Science Monitor:

Medical Science Monitor will continue to publish works on clinical medicine, human studies, drug controlled studies, pharmacoeconomics, clinical diagnostic techniques, public health and epidemiology.

Papers devoted to laboratory and in vitro studies, animal research, molecular biology, fundamental aspects of medical biochemistry, drug research, biotechnology and development of laboratory techniques will now be published in the new branch title, the Medical Science Monitor Basic Research.

Both journals accept submissions of original papers, short communications, hypothesis and review papers. They will also publish faster as they have changed the publication model to continuous, primary electronic. This means, that the paper will be published short after positive evaluation.
